HOW IT WORKS

Working seamlessly together


Everyone at Riverstone plays their part in facilitating well-being, to ensure your independence is maintained, you have the level of social interaction you enjoy, and life’s pleasures are sustained.

We do this as seamlessly as possible, connecting the dots between the different elements of your well-being and bespoke care needs – whether this is by helping you to achieve fitness goals, taking up a new hobby or making sure that you are able to easily access any health or care experts you might need.

Our partnerships with GPDQ and The Good Care Group at Riverstone mean you can do this easily. Whether you use these services regularly, occasionally, or not at all, is completely up to you. Our experts will be on hand to help you if and when you need them.

 

Through your annual health and well-being assessment with our highly skilled Well-being Ambassador, and our Forever Curious programme, we can help you achieve any goals that you might want to set yourself. Or if you want to take a more laid-back approach then that’s fine too. With London’s parks and the beautiful gardens at Riverstone Gardens on your doorstep, along with a high-tech gym, vitality pool and on-site fitness team, we can help you to be as active as you would like to be.

Our Well-being Ambassador and Resident Experience Team combine expertise and common sense with a hospitality and service outlook to bring you truly holistic well-being and bespoke care.

Private GP Service

GPDQ

Riverstone have partnered with leading private General Practice provider GPDQ to offer proactive healthcare solutions for our residents. From the little questions to larger concerns, their friendly, experienced professionals will be on hand to provide reassurance, advice and recommendations.

GPDQ offer a truly holistic service, from regular GP clinics taking place on site at Riverstone and the ability to consult a GP in your own apartment through to accessing the full range of medical and affiliated services such as physiotherapy, nutrition, talking therapies and vaccinations.

Introducing The Good Care Group at Riverstone

Working in close partnership with The Good Care Group, we have created a brand new, bespoke care service for residents, to enable you to continue to live the life you want. The Good Care Group is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.

So whether it’s minimal or full-time long-term care you need, you can have peace of mind knowing you’ll be able to stay in your home, helped by our team.

 

BESPOKE CARE

Hourly Care

The Good Care Group at Riverstone service delivers the highest quality care in your home – if or when you need it. It is entirely tailored to your individual wishes and can meet wide-ranging needs, whether that’s simply a helping hand, assistance with your ongoing independence, support with some daily living activities or aiding recovery following illness or injury.

You can talk about your requirements and wishes to the Registered Care Manager who will develop a care plan personalised to you, ranging from 30 minutes per week to several hours per day.

 

BESPOKE CARE

Live-in Care

The Good Care Group at Riverstone also offers the option of live-in care, with a carer living in a resident’s apartment in a spare bedroom and providing a flexible one-to-one service.

The carer provides 10-12 hours of care per day, depending on needs, and an agreed Care Plan, but is in the resident’s home day and night. Care is totally wrapped around the resident’s lifestyle.

Getting to know you

Our friendly and professional care experts look forward to getting to know you. Someone is always available to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have about future care provision, whether that’s before you move into Riverstone, when you’re settled or if your care needs change at any stage.

Members of The Good Care Group at Riverstone team are on site and accessible seven days a week, ready to provide advice or information.

APARTMENT ADAPTATION SERVICE

Adapting your apartment

The Good Care Group at Riverstone Registered Care Manager can also provide guidance on adaptations to your apartment to help you to continue to live independently. They have received additional training meaning they are perfectly placed to have an initial conversation about the adaptations you may need. The care manager may then refer you to an Occupational Therapist who will meet you for a fuller assessment of your needs.
