London’s most historic botanic garden
Founded in 1673, Chelsea Physic Garden was originally conceived as a place for apprentices of The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries to study medicinal plants in a natural environment. Over the centuries, it became one of the most important centres for botany and plant exchange in the world. Today, over 4,500 plant spaces flourish over the garden’s 3.8 acres. Visitors and flora enthusiasts are welcome, though this educational charity is still a place of learning, enticing the next generation of botanical horticulturalists to continue their studies.

Chelsea Physic Garden and Riverstone Living share a commitment to wellbeing, community and the natural environment. As such, Riverstone residents can become a meaningful part of the garden’s vibrant community, providing support for charitable activities, enjoying exclusive Riverstone events and simply spending time in the beautiful grounds.
