Riverstone Kensington is home to a Recovery Suite. A specially equipped space that’s designed to help you recover following a hospital stay, operation, illness or injury in a luxurious, calm and relaxing setting.
If you choose to book a stay at the Recovery Suite you will benefit from staying in a beautiful apartment whilst you recuperate. You will have access to a fully equipped Physiotherapy Suite, Rehabilitation Gym, and a private Hydrotherapy Pool.

Helping you get back to full strength with confidence
Riverstone’s dedicated in-house Wellbeing Team are here to support you during your stay in our Recovery Suite. With their healthcare expertise, working together with Riverstone’s specialist partners, they are uniquely placed to provide guidance and support. Additionally, they will assist in arranging the bespoke package that you need for your stay, whether that’s physiotherapy, care, or anything else you might require, we want to ensure a tailored experience for each guest.
A registered nurse will be on-hand during your first night to support you with your medicines, and answer any questions you might have following your discharge from hospital. We can also arrange any other nursing care, or support that you might need during your time with us. Throughout your stay you’ll experience the best of Riverstone hospitality, delivered by our concierge team.
The apartments
The apartments, designed with recovery in mind, include special features which make them easy to use while also providing a comfortable, relaxing environment.
Each apartment has two bedrooms. The principal bedroom features an adjustable bed that moves from flat to sitting up, and an adapted bathroom. Each apartment also includes a relaxing lounge and furniture tailored to suit your every need. The spacious rooms and wide corridors throughout make each room easy to access.
We understand that the emotional support of friends and family is essential to better health and wellbeing, so for a small additional charge, guests are welcome to stay in the second bedroom, as well as your well-behaved pets.

Experts on hand
Through expert partnerships, guests may also receive medical support and liaison, personal care or nursing support, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy, as well as support from any other professionals that may aid recovery. Any care or services required will be arranged at an additional cost.
Designed to support specific exercises that treat a wide range of conditions and postoperative rehabilitation, the Physiotherapy Suite includes two consultation rooms and a physio gym with the latest technology and equipment. Physiotherapy is led by our carefully selected highly skilled partner and supported by the Riverstone Wellbeing Team.
Long recognised for its benefits in recovery from orthopaedic surgery, sports injuries, or trauma, hydrotherapy is available in our Vitality Pool, a calming spa environment. The Physiotherapist will be in the water with you and provide constant guidance and support during treatments in the pool, which has been carefully designed to provide easy access.
Should you need medical attention during your stay, Riverstone has partnered with experienced professionals including occupational therapists, psychologists, and GPs to provide reassurance, advice, and recommendations. This allows us to build a bespoke package for your recovery based on your needs. This can include liaising with your hospital team.
If your circumstances mean that your recovery can be enhanced with the addition of personal care or nursing support, then this can be arranged.
The Riverstone Wellbeing Ambassadors are part of our residence-based team and are clinically qualified with a background in healthcare. They are there to guide and support you and will be in regular contact whilst you are staying at Riverstone. They will also assist in arranging a bespoke package to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Who we work with
Riverstone has partnered with Central Health Physiotherapy to provide physiotherapy to Recovery Suite guests.
All of the physiotherapists are members of The Charted Society of Physiotherapy, and are Registered with The Health and Care Professions Council, meaning you can be confident they are up-to-date with the latest medical developments.
With over 40 therapists, Central Health Physiotherapy pride themselves in offering a full range of physiotherapy services with an unrivalled level of care and treatment. Your physiotherapy will take place in our specially designed physiotherapy suite, which is located next-door to your Recovery apartment. They are also proud to be able to offer hydrotherapy in the relaxing and tranquil surroundings of our Vitality Pool.
Cavendish Homecare’s bespoke high-quality home nursing and care services have been created by experts to meet the needs of individuals.
Their compassion, confidentiality, and attention to detail are just some of the things valued by their regular clients, and which resonate with us at Riverstone.
This is why we have chosen to partner with Cavendish Homecare to provide any personal or nursing care that you might need while staying in the Recovery Suite. They understand the importance of post-operative care to ensure a successful recovery, and can support you from the moment you arrive at Riverstone through to when you’re feeling your usual self again.
Riverstone has partnered with Doctorcall, providers of experienced private doctors within the London area, to offer their membership service to our residents. Should you fall ill or need the advice of a doctor, Doctorcall’s GPs are there for you whenever you need them.
Doctorcall offer the assurance of a home visit to your apartment 24/7, on any day of the year, with a guaranteed attendance time of within 3 hours, or a telephone or video call with a doctor if you prefer. The service combines availability and accessibility with the peace of mind that you will receive the best medical attention.
