Joe Carri, director at Prestige Audio, explains how he and his team created the award-winning entertainment options that are skilfully woven into Riverstone Fulham.

Joe explains, “Prestige Audio is one of the UK’s leading designers and installers of smart building and high-performance entertainment systems. For many years we have been delivering systems that are bespoke to each and every project we work on creating for customers immersive and easy to access experiences for every mood and occasion.”

“Our relationship with Riverstone goes back to 2019 when we began first in a consulting capacity and then as official supplier of automation and entertainment systems. Riverstone Fulham was the first project that benefited from our full range of services as we created a multi-room audio visual system and of course the 20-seat cinema in the basement. We are now official AV supplier to the company and are looking forward to working on the other exciting projects Riverstone has planned.”

Joe adds, “Right from the start we were impressed with the level of luxury, attention to detail and ambition Riverstone had for their projects. These shared values made it straight-forward for us to add our input into the offering and make sure residents have high-performance entertainment opportunities throughout the sites we are involved with.”

As well as impressing guests and visitors with what the Prestige Audio team has created, the company’s peers have also been impressed at the work on Riverstone Fulham has received several internationally recognised awards.

The project was singled out by the Smart Building Awards as delivering the Best Home Cinema for 2023 and providing the Best Multi-Dwelling Project, also for 2023. The basement cinema was also recognised by The International Design & Architecture Awards 2023 as one of the top four home cinemas in the UK.

So, what was it that impressed these industry bodies so much? Joe says, “What the judges for these types of awards are looking for is something out of the ordinary, something that goes the extra mile, something that breaks new ground and delivers something unique. We are extremely proud of our work at Riverstone Fulham because it was the very first cinema at this performance level to be integrated into a purpose-built residence for the over 65s, there really isn’t anything else like in the UK right now. The cinema also has special additions to ensure those with any hearing issues can also enjoy the cinema in all its glory and it also serves as a multi-use space as we have installed equipment so it can be used at a lecture theatre as well.”

“The whole building also enjoys access to an easy-to-use audio-visual system that delivers access to music and visual content around the building meaning pleasant entertainment options are never far away.”

Finally, Joe underlines what is so rewarding about working in partnership with Riverstone. “Our business involves lots of high-performance technology of course, but really, we are in the business of making people happy. It’s the same for Riverstone and it is why our services are such a good match, high standards and attention to detail are in our company DNA and we are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Riverstone building systems that will entertain, amaze and delivering memorable experiences for many years to come.”
